Miske Ranch near Wibaux in far eastern Montana is filling one winter cattle and calving position running November 2026 through mid-June 2027. This is exactly the calving-season hire pattern: on through the winter feeding period, into the heart of calving, and out after spring work is finished. Expect night checks and long days during calving. Three months of prior experience is required. The posted normal schedule is 60 hours per week, and actual hours on a calving crew routinely run longer when cows are working. The wage offered to US workers is $13.46 per hour. The job order was posted in late August 2026 and is currently active. Apply through the federal job order posting.
