Little Paris Sheep Company is filling six winter livestock worker positions at Jiggs, in the high desert south of Elko, Nevada, running October 2026 through the end of March 2027. Six openings on one winter crew makes this one of the larger sheep-outfit hires currently posted in the Great Basin. Unlike the monthly-rate range herding jobs, this one is paid hourly with a posted normal schedule of 44 hours per week, which gives a clearer picture of hours than an open-ended herding contract. Three months of prior experience is required. Employer housing is referenced in the job order. The wage offered to US workers is $14.54 per hour. Apply through the federal job order posting.
