Winter Mitigation and Livestock Worker

White River Ranch is filling twenty winter livestock worker positions near Hart, Texas, running October 2026 through the start of May 2027. This is one of the larger single crews in the current crop of winter cattle job orders, covering general livestock care alongside the winter mitigation work that keeps stock fed and watered through cold weather. One month of prior experience is required, so it suits someone with a little background rather than a complete beginner. The posted normal schedule is 66 hours per week, and hours in practice move with weather and stock conditions. The wage offered to US workers is $11.81 per hour. Apply through the federal job order posting.
