TNC is hiring for a three-person burn squad that supports prescribed fire on the Talladega and Shoal Creek Ranger Districts of the Talladega National Forest in east Alabama, working under a Burn Crew Manager. The job covers ignition, holding, mop-up, line construction and post-burn monitoring, with possible wildfire assignments alongside state, federal and tribal partners. Requirements are a high school diploma, the ability to obtain RXCM or FFT2 quals and pass the fitness standard, and a valid license with an acceptable driving record.
