Park Aide (Fields Spring) Winter Season

Washington State Parks is filling a non-permanent Park Aide job at Fields Spring State Park, a forested 792-acre park in the Blue Mountains above Anatone in the far southeast corner of the state. The position runs roughly November through March for the 2026 winter season and park housing is available. Aides work under a Park Ranger on the full mix of frontline park duties: registering campers, collecting and counting fees and preparing deposits, answering visitor questions and explaining park rules, cleaning restrooms and rental properties, hauling garbage and litter, and general grounds upkeep. At this winter recreation park the list also includes shoveling and plowing snow, pruning brush on ski trails, helping sawyers with downed trees, and running snowmobile-towed trail grooming equipment. You must be at least 17 with a valid unrestricted driver’s license. The announcement is continuous and the hiring manager can close it once a selection is made.
