Parks Maintenance Technician – Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site

Wyoming State Parks is filling a permanent full-time maintenance technician post at Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site near Hyattville on the west slope of the Bighorn Mountains. The technician keeps the site’s buildings, grounds, water and irrigation systems and equipment in working order through carpentry, mowing, plumbing, electrical and small-engine repair, and directs seasonal staff on daily projects. The role also covers visitor help, safety inspections, first response to weather, fire and medical incidents, and leading tours and interpretive hikes about the site’s history. Minimum qualifications are an associate’s degree with up to a year of parks maintenance experience or equivalent; two years of maintenance and interpretive experience is preferred.
