OARS is recruiting full-time and part-time seasonal shuttle drivers for its 2027 river season at bases across the West, including California, Utah, Arizona, Oregon and Idaho. Drivers move guests and river gear to and from put-ins and take-outs, handle daily vehicle checks, fueling and cleaning, and load and secure equipment; some bases also require towing trailers. Applicants must be at least 21 with a clean driving record, and experience driving 15-passenger vans is preferred; OARS runs a CDL training program for drivers who want one. The season runs March to November with the peak from late May to mid-September. Pay is per shuttle and varies by location and experience, and perks include 401(k) eligibility after 50 paid days, staff gear deals and trip discounts. Apply through the driver application linked on the posting.
