River Drifters is accepting 2027 applications from guides who already have commercial experience to run day trips on the Deschutes out of Maupin, the White Salmon out of Husum, WA (experienced guides only) and the Clackamas out of Estacada. The season runs April through Labor Day weekend, and the company lists specific must-work blocks in late June/early July, mid-July to mid-August and the first week of September 2027. Pay is described only as based on experience, and guides are expected to arrange their own housing. The company also runs a separate guide-training course for newcomers and hires drivers, photographers and lunch cooks.
