A desert guest ranch on the lower Salt River east of Phoenix is hiring wranglers for its winter season, with start options in September or December and work running through April 2027. The job is feeding, grooming and tacking the ranch string, spotting horses that are off, leading guided trail rides for riders of all levels, and keeping the barn, corrals and tack in order. Applicants should already have solid riding and horse-handling experience from a ranch, stable or trail outfit, be comfortable in heat and dust, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds. Pay is an hourly wage set by experience plus tips; staff housing may be available depending on the season. Apply by emailing a cover letter and resume to the ranch’s jobs address.
