Lone Mountain Ranch, a century-old guest ranch in Big Sky near Yellowstone, is looking for a sleigh ride teamster for the winter season. You would drive draft horse teams on the ranch’s sleigh trails, help guests on and off, talk about the horses and local history, and handle feeding, grooming, harnessing and hitching, plus basic equine first aid. Teamsters also support the sleigh ride dinner, from dining room setup to dishes and table resets, and clear snow and ready the sleighs between runs. Applicants need at least five years of horse-handling experience, an insurable driver’s license, confidence speaking to groups, and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays; sleigh or draft-horse driving experience is preferred. Pay and housing are not listed on the posting. Apply online through the ranch’s Rippling job board.
