Entry-level seat on a three-person TNC burn squad assigned to the Oakmulgee Ranger District of the Talladega National Forest in west-central Alabama, working under a Burn Crew Manager. Expect the full range of prescribed-fire tasks such as line prep, lighting, holding, mop-up and monitoring, with the chance to join wildfire suppression alongside agency partners. A high school diploma, the ability to earn RXCM or FFT2 credentials and meet the fitness standard, and a valid license with a clean record are required.
