Ranch Hand – Family Wheat & Cattle Ranch

A traditional family ranch near Winifred, Montana, running wheat, dryland hay and about 100 head of cattle, needs a year-round hand willing to do whatever the day calls for. Cattle are worked quietly and horseback where the terrain demands it, so you must bring your own horse, truck and trailer (the ranch will discuss compensation for them). Most days are field work, haying, harvest, equipment and shed maintenance, corral cleaning and seasonal branding, vaccinating and weaning. The location is isolated, the workplace is tobacco- and drug-free, and on-farm housing may be possible. Pay is monthly based on experience; email a cover letter and resume.
