Ranch Hand / Herdsman – Seedstock Operation

Pitts Angus Farms in Hermitage, Missouri, is hiring a self-reliant hand for its registered Angus herd. Duties include daily feeding and health checks, vaccinating and treating, breeding and calving support, sorting and hauling cattle, pasture rotation, haying, and keeping fences, corrals, tractors and ranch vehicles in good repair. They want 2–4 years with registered or seedstock cattle, low-stress handling skills, a clean driving record and references; AI or preg-check experience is a plus. Expect long days in calving and weaning, on-call duty and a weekend rotation. Pay runs $17–$25 an hour with on-ranch housing available; email a cover letter and resume.
