Wilderness Lodge Cook – Woods (Winter 2026-27)

Cook for guests at AMC’s remote Maine Woods lodges (Medawisla, Little Lyford and Gorman Chairback) during the winter ski and snowshoe season. The job covers preparing meals from set menus, handling dietary restrictions, keeping the kitchen to Maine health code, and pitching in on meal service and deep cleaning. Food-service experience is preferred but not required; you must be 18+, able to stand through 10-hour shifts, lift 50 lb and travel in the backcountry. The season runs Dec 29, 2026 to mid-March 2027 at $16.34/hour with a dorm-style room and meals included, plus up to 10 paid days off.
