Two GW-7 positions on the wildland fire module at Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, with the U.S. Wildland Fire Service. Module members lead fuels and prescribed fire projects, gather monitoring data, direct saw, pump and firing operations, and serve as situational leaders on wildfires, traveling up to 20 nights a month in season. Required quals are Engine Boss or Crew Boss, Incident Commander Type 5 and Firing Boss. This is a primary firefighter position with a maximum entry age of 37, filled by direct hire.
