The position also hazes American white pelicans on the Blackfoot River and Reservoir under the region’s avian predation management plan, and helps with habitat restoration including planting and fence repair. Applicants must accept a flexible schedule with early mornings, long days, weekends and stretches of up to seven consecutive days, and be able to lift sixty pounds with occasional loads to a hundred while working outdoors in extreme weather.
