Roe Quality Control Technician – F/T Northern Hawk

Coastal Alaska Premier Seafoods wants a roe quality control technician aboard the factory trawler Northern Hawk, working the pollock fishery off Washington and Alaska. The technician checks and grades fillet, mince and roe product against company specifications, inspects frozen product for temperature, weight, packaging and labeling, keeps the vessel HACCP and sanitation records, runs chlorine tests and tallies product at offload. The job also means directing processing crew and working with Baader technicians and foremen on machine adjustments. At least two years of factory trawler experience is required, and HACCP certification and food-handling experience are a plus.
