Seafood Processor – F/T Northern Hawk (Factory Trawler)

Coastal Alaska Premier Seafoods, a Coastal Villages Region Fund company, is hiring seafood processors for the factory trawler Northern Hawk, which fishes off Washington and Alaska. Processors sort catch by species, run and tend factory machines, hand-fillet and inspect fish, then pack, weigh, label and freeze finished product, and help with offloads, loading supplies and cleaning the factory. Earlier factory trawler processing experience is strongly preferred, and crew need basic math and solid English. It is a seasonal crew contract that means long stretches away from home in close shipboard quarters, with 401(k) and preventive health benefits once eligible.
