A 30,000-acre commercial Black Angus cow-calf outfit in Oregon’s Pine Valley, with additional BLM and Forest Service grazing, has an immediate opening for an experienced hand. The ranch wants someone with five or more years on working ranches who can ride and handle cattle, run equipment, flood irrigate, put up hay and feed through the winter; mechanical ability is a plus. Calving starts in late January in nearby Eagle Valley, and pairs are trailed over the summit to summer pastures each spring. The position is full-time and year-round with housing and benefits; salary depends on experience. Apply through the contact form on the ranch website, or call 541-742-7216.
