TNC’s Chattahoochee Fall Line fire program in west-central Georgia needs a senior crew member to lead three Fire Management Technicians on prescribed burns and preserve work, taking fireline leadership roles under a Burn Boss. The job also includes looking after the crew’s shared house and helping keep the peace among housemates, plus possible assignments with Tuskegee National Forest, Piedmont NWR and Georgia DNR. You need at least 12 months of active FFT2 or burn-crew experience, current FFT2 quals and a passing arduous pack test. The season runs January 4 to June 25, 2027, pay is listed at $22–$26.50 an hour, and free housing with utilities in Marion County comes with the job once you sign the lease terms.
