2026 Fall Tucson Field Crew Member

Arizona Conservation Corps is still listing its fall Tucson adult field crew as an open position on its member-positions page. The term runs September 7, 2026 through February 12, 2027 on an eight-days-on, six-days-off hitch schedule, with crews camping at project sites in southern Arizona while doing trail construction, fuels reduction and habitat work for federal and state land agencies. This is an AmeriCorps term: the corps’ own job page lists a $480 weekly living allowance, a $120 weekly additional benefit and a $2,817.14 education award. No previous trail experience is required; expect strenuous hand-tool labor and extended camping. A sister Flagstaff crew (September 7 to December 11) and Phoenix urban forestry crews starting in October are posted on the same page, and all apply through Conservation Legacy’s online portal.
