RMYC’s New Mexico programs in Taos and Albuquerque are already recruiting crew members for the 2027 season, which begins March 18, 2027. Corpsmembers work full-time on crew-based trail, wilderness, forestry and climate-resilience projects, choosing either a Tuesday–Friday day schedule or a spike schedule camping at project sites eight days on and six off. The role is open to ages 17 to 30 with no prior experience required. Pay is a $700 weekly stipend plus a Segal AmeriCorps education award, health insurance, a gear loan program, UNM college credit and industry certifications. Assistant crew leader ($740/wk, starts Feb 1) and field technician ($820/wk, starts Jan 19) roles are posted alongside it; applications go through RMYC’s ADP portal linked from the Apply Now page.
