United States Seafoods runs factory trawlers out of Dutch Harbor and is looking for deckhands who already have trawl deck experience. The work is setting and hauling nets, passing codend bags to and from catcher boats, mending gear, running deck winches and cranes, and helping in the factory or engine room when needed. Contracts run up to about 90 days, and the company fishes from January through November on a rotating schedule. Pay is a crew share based on the value of the catch. You must pass a pre-employment drug screen, and you apply online through the Paylocity posting.
