Alaska State Parks is filling a Park Technician 1 stationed at Delta Junction in the interior. The technician runs day-to-day operations across park units scattered as far as one hundred twenty-five road miles from town, covering campgrounds, public-use cabins, trail systems, outhouses and docks. The job blends hands-on facility maintenance and repair with visitor contact, public safety duties and resource management chores. It also carries supervisory responsibility for Alaska Conservation Corps crewmembers and volunteers, so scheduling and crew leadership are part of the role. Expect long driving days, interior Alaska weather extremes and sustained physical labor outdoors. The announcement lists a flat hourly rate and closes at five in the afternoon Alaska time.
