Westward Seafoods, Alyeska and the Northern Victor are staffing their Dutch Harbor shore plants for the pollock, crab, cod, halibut and sablefish A Season beginning in January 2027. Processors rotate through butchering, sorting, filleting, case-up and plant cleanup, with shifts of 12 or more hours, seven days a week when fish are coming in, and no guaranteed hours during slow stretches. You get yourself to the Seattle point of hire; the company flies you from Seattle to Dutch Harbor. Company housing and meals are provided at a $20-per-day deduction on days you work at least eight hours. Applicants must be 18 or older, authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, and pass a post-offer drug screen and physical; a virtual interview follows the online application.
