You would drive and run a fire engine, assist the engine captain, evaluate new fires and deploy the crew, and step in as initial attack incident commander when needed. Engine Boss, Incident Commander Type 5 and the S-211 portable pumps course are required. Government housing may be available at some stations and tours guarantee at least 13 full-time pay periods.
