Seasonal Burn Crew Member – Central

Seasonal prescribed-fire crew job with TNC’s Central Florida Ecosystem Restoration Team, working burns on conservation lands across the region: ignition, holding, mop-up, line prep, equipment upkeep and post-burn monitoring, plus invasive-plant and hardwood-reduction work on non-burn days. You need a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and the ability to earn FFT2 or RXCM credentials (S-130/S-190/L-180/I-100 plus a training burn) and pass the arduous pack test. Six months to a year of related experience and S-212 saw training are preferred. It is full-time hourly work at $19–$22 an hour with overtime past 40 hours, and lodging is provided at the Disney Wilderness Preserve or Tiger Creek Preserve.
