NWYC’s Boise crew is a 480-hour AmeriCorps day program running September 21 to December 18, 2026, Monday through Friday from 8 to 4:30, in parks and natural areas around the Treasure Valley. Crew members work with four other members and a crew leader on tree planting and care, wildfire fuels mitigation, invasive plant control and tree surveys, with possible training on brush cutters, chippers and trailers. This is not a camping crew and no local housing is provided. The stipend is $7,680 total, paid monthly, plus a $1,956.35 education award.
