The 480-hour AmeriCorps term runs September 21 to December 18, 2026 on a weekday schedule, roughly 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A crew of five members and one leader plants and maintains trees, reduces wildfire fuels, controls invasive plants and surveys trees, and may train on brush cutters and wood chippers. It pays a $7,680 total stipend in monthly installments plus a $1,956.35 education award. No housing is provided.
