Katmai Wilderness Lodge, an off-grid lodge for up to 12 guests on the Katmai coast, needs a live-in general assistant for May 15 to September 25, 2027. Expect a mix of housekeeping and laundry, welcoming guests and carrying bags, spending time with guests in the lodge, helping at the bar and with food service and inventory, and doing basic upkeep. You need at least two years in hospitality, housekeeping or guest services, a high school diploma or GED, an Alaska TAP alcohol-server card (or the ability to get one), and a real willingness to live somewhere remote. The lodge’s CoolWorks profile lists $4,000 to $6,000 a month plus tips, a private cabin room with shared bath, and meals. Apply through the Ouzinkie Native Corporation Workable careers page.
