Harper Feeders, a fourth-generation family feedlot in Eaton, Colorado, wants an experienced cattle person to check up to 3,000 head every morning. You will walk pens, spot and pull sick cattle, treat them to protocol, keep treatment records and watch waters, fences and gates, then help process incoming cattle and sort and load on shipping days. Low-stress stockmanship and solid hands-on cattle experience are required; commercial feedlot time is preferred. It is a year-round, part-time mornings job that pays $30 an hour.
