Sundance Mountain Resort in Provo Canyon is hiring seasonal full-time snowcat operator candidates to learn to groom its slopes on Prinoth and PistenBully machines. Candidates train on controls and grooming patterns, perform daily inspections and basic maintenance, and work day, evening or night shifts on a seven-day availability schedule; after a six-week trial they can move up to a full operator level. Applicants must be 21 or older with a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, previous heavy equipment and grooming experience, the ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds and a driving record that meets the resort’s insurance rules. Pay is $17 an hour at the candidate level, with employee discounts on dining and resort amenities; housing is not mentioned. Apply through Sundance’s ApplicantPro careers site at the posting link.
